With over 30 years in the construction business, Cliff McCartney and his company, Jesco Builders, are highly qualified for a wide range of projects. We take pride in our ability to adapt to the individual needs of each client and bring their dream to fruition.
Cliff created his company in 1985, but as word spread of his craftsmanship, and the projects became larger, his staff also grew. Jesco Builders now tackles a wide variety of projects with the help of licensed carpenters, a construction manager, and skilled tradesmen. Since every project is custom, Cliff encourages a close involvement with his clients and feels this will aid him in constructing the finished product that will be perfect for their lifestyle and exactly what they had envisioned. Although the company has done projects elsewhere in Southern Ontario and abroad, Cliff’s focus is on the Grey and Bruce county areas.
We are committed to providing the highest level of workmanship to each and every project we work on, along with diligent and personalized care to everyone involved. Cliff’s dedication to excellence and custom work has earned a spotlight feature in the 2016 fall edition of Escarpment Magazine. Jesco Builders offers a specialized touch adding individual style to every project, turning a new home into a custom work of art.
In 2006 we decided to plan for our last move! The Niagara Escarpment provided a perfect backdrop. We are in the middle of Owen Sound but surrounded by natural beauty. We had purchased a lot with an existing bungalow. We interviewed many contractors but Cliff “got” it from the beginning. We decided to pull down the existing house but use the foot print to create our dream. The criteria was challenging. It must be “Energy efficient” use local materials, local talent and be beautiful! It was completed on schedule. Cliff was incredibly patient as our demands were not easy but it stands 10 years later as a unique example of local craftsmanship thanks to Cliff’s diverse talent and determination to make other peoples dreams a reality! Thanks Cliff!!
